Abstract

LUCIANI CONDE, Leandro et al. Health resources evaluation in three selected areas of Buenos Aires City: An approach based on integral protection and infancy and adolescence public policies. Anu. investig. [online]. 2006, vol.13, pp.165-173. ISSN 1851-1686.

As part of the project "Integral protection and childhood infancy and adolescence public policies: the right to health of abandoned children and adolescents not covered by social security and health care programs in Buenos Aires City", this paper is based on one of its objectives: to identify state and civil society organizations which take care of infants' and adolescents' health. It is an exploratory-descriptive analysis, made according to a Health Systems and Services Investigation. A field evaluation was carried out in three geographical areas: Palermo, Boca/Barracas and Chacarita. Analysis Units were selected according to the following three criteria: they had to: 1- form part of the State Public Sector or the Civil Society, 2- develop practices related to health 3- implement actions for infants. Results obtained and conclusions made during the quantitative - qualitative data processing, gathered in six quarters by means of the prepared and given questionnaire, are included.
