Abstract

DIAMANT, Ana. The Repetition Of A Founding Experience: Vocational Guidance At UBA In The 50s And 60s. A Space For The University Course Of Psychology. Anu. investig. [online]. 2008, vol.15. ISSN 1851-1686.

Some aspects about the history of the Vocational Guidance at UBA and its aims during the foundation stage have been developed: assist secondary school students to choose a university course, help them get involved with the needs of our country and solve the information access dificulties. Their actions are placed within the context of the Department of University Affairs (Extension Program) in UBA and according to the ideology they followed. The first principals are introduced highlighting their contribution on each management period. The role assigned to students and new graduates in Psychology are made evident within that action field. It is appraised the importance of evidence representative of multiple memories which condense versions of past gone through time and the significance of positions main characters or witnesses had or are assumed.

Keywords : Vocational Guidance; University Extension Program; Relationship between High School and University; Psychologists ' Role.
