Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze university student's attitudes over professional ethics. Using the Ethical Attitudes Scale (Hirsch et al) originally developed in Spanish and validated in Spanish university students. This scale, based on the model of the theory of reasoned action of Fishbein and Ajzen (Escámez, 1988 and 1991), consists of 55 propositions concerning four skills related to professionalism. We present the analysis of quantity data obtained from surveys of 216 students of both genders belonging to the Faculty of Psychology of the UBA. The students' age ranges between 26 and 53 years. Conclusions emphasize that student of the career of psychology at the University of Buenos Aires value irst cognitive and techniques ski l ls and secondly ethical skills.
