Abstract

This paper presents some preliminary relections upon the value of clinical sources in the field of the history of Psychology. The framework of these reflections corresponds to the initial stages of the research project that we are currently conducting in order to gather, compile, and analyze clinical material published in Argentina between 1900 and 1960 (UBACyT, Project PS0752). The methodological discussion herein presented focuses on the various modalities of clinical presentations: "clinical cases", "clinical records", "case studies", and a review of their scope for the understanding of the history of practices and disciplines in Psychology
