Abstract

CANTU, Gustavo  and  PATINO, Yanina. Digital image and imaginative processes: symbolic production involved in the utilization of new technologies and its analysis. Anu. investig. [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.1, pp.125-130. ISSN 1851-1686.

This paper aims at characterizing some conceptual axes of the UBACyT Project "Imaginative processes involved in symbolic production in children and adolescents with learning problems", directed by Dr. Silvia Schlemenson. The project investigates imaginative processes as a type of psychic work which makes possible that children and adolescents could get access to productive, ductile and autonomous thinking. After analizing the ways in which new technologies may enhance the complexity of symbolic modalities and thinking, the focus is set on describing analytic axes of symbolic production of children and adolescents using new technologies. Finally, some educational strategies meant to deepen the complexity of imaginative processes are proposed.

Keywords : Imagination; Symbolization; Symbolic production; New technologies.
