Abstract

The Law on Mental Health and Addictions -2010 in Argentina, presents an approach to the mental suffering since human rights paradigm, placing the user  as subjects rigths . Locates confinement as a last resort and proposes the creation of intermediate devices substitutes and care in the community. However, with increased hospitalizations and emergency measures, sustaining monovalent hospital beds questioning the access to rights. From a Community Social Psychology approach, this study aims: to characterize the obstacles and resistences in the rehabilitation process, in a predischarge program in a monovalent hospital of the Buenos Aires City. The resistors subjective to life outside the hospital are reinforced by institutional barriers and the public policies limit in the sector.
