Abstract

LOPEZ, Lucila; LUCHETTI, Yanina  and  BRIZZIO, Analía. Emotional indicators of the HFD and its relation with the psychological reasons for consultation in children. Anu. investig. [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.1, pp.369-376. ISSN 1851-1686.

The Emotional Indicators (EI) of the Human Figure Drawing postulated by Koppitz (1968), are widely used in clinical and educational services in our country for psychological exploration of children. These indicators provide information about the anxieties, attitudes and concerns of children (Koppitz, 1984). The present study aims to observe the behavior of these IEs in children between 6 and 12 years who were attended in public or private psychological consultation, according to the most frequent reasons for consultation in this age group. Analysis of the results shows that there are IEs which appear more often in children with learning difficulties and behavioral problems.

Keywords : HFD; Emotional Indicators; Emotional Problems; Learning difficulties; Behavioral problems.
