From the point of view of the Critical History of Psychology, this paper analizes the conceptions of male sexuality in Quintiliano Saldaña’s Siete Ensayos de Sociología Sexual. Taking into account technological conceptions of Psychology and its uses, we have considered possible relationships between Sociology, Psychology and Criminology within hygienical practices in Argentina through the 1920’s. The conception of male sexuality developed by this author can ilustrate how some social practices are justified on the basis of cientifical knowledge.
