Abstract

The results obtained through a project. The research is conducted in the institutional setting of Closed System Centers -hosting young criminal offenders. The objective is to determine whether the new perspective of educational intervent ion, which puts i ts emphasis on formal education, is a subculture that determines the behavior of the members that make this institution. For this, based on a qualitative methodology from an ethnographic approach has been analyzed in depth the area of primary and secondary education. Identification of school organizational culture and consideration of the same was achieved as a subculture. This subculture underlies the dominant: the closure.
