Abstract

ENRIA, Graciela; FLEITAS, Mirta  and  STAFFOLANI, Claudio. Health education in health programes. Cienc. docencia tecnol. [online]. 2010, n.41, pp.49-71. ISSN 1851-1716.

Under the name of Health Programmes there are usually included educational activities that show despaired implementation and poor impact. The present paper aims to describe the obstacles limiting to reach the intended health education objectives by means of identifying the particularities of different health programmes undertaken on Chagas Disease, Tuberculosis and HIV-AIDS prevention in Santa Fe Province and Rosario City (Santa Fe, Argentina). Our approach was derived from Michel Foulcault's proposals named as Archaeology of Knowledge, focussing on the speeches continuities and discontinuities that can be traced between each programme and the ways the proposed actions are accomplished.

Keywords : Health education; Health programmes; Health promotion.
