The main goal of this paper is to analyze the role that Information and Communication Technologies (ict) play in the educational performance of young people living under conditions of social vulnerability. To this end, we employ a dataset from a household survey carried out in three poor neighborhoods in the city of Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires Province. An ordered logistic regression model is estimated. Among the main findings are that ict access is not significant to explain educational outcomes, while ict use has a significant and positive impact on performance.
