The purpose was to study university trajectories in times of pandemic, through the cross-sectional analysis of research carried out at the National University of Río Cuarto during 2020 and 2021. We developed a meta-synthesis, we analyzed 12 articles in which socio-economic, political-institutional, pedagogical-curricular and subjective aspects that affect these trajectories were addressed. The results indicate that the pandemic situation introduced modifications to university educational trajectories; deepened existing socio-economic and cultural inequalities; It updated the need for a critical reflection on the processes of virtualization of education and the importance of inhabiting public spaces again, of re-thinking the meanings that the public university assumes in the current scenario. Finally, we point out the inescapable responsibility of the State in guaranteeing the right to higher education, as a public, social and collective good, especially in contexts of crisis and deepening of inequalities.
