Abstract

ALVAREZ, Marisa. Vinculación universidad-entorno en el contexto de pandemia. Análisis de una experiencia público-privada a partir de la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19. Cienc. docencia tecnol. [online]. 2023, n.69, pp.7-7. ISSN 1851-1716.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.33255/3468/1601.

The paper presents results of a research that analyzes experiences of collaboration and co-production of knowledge between the university and its environment. These processes involve dynamics of interaction that imply strategies of the protagonists, previous experiences and knowledge, in an exchange that implies modifications in practices. The paper presents the case of a linking experience, motivated in the context of an emergency by COVID-19, between a national university, a technology center and a private company, among other actors. It reconstructs the institutional, organizational and sociotechnical path for the production of a respiratory cycler, analyzes the key factors that facilitate and hinder its development, and seeks to define the characteristics of the co-production of knowledge in this space of interaction. The main finding is the incidence of the exceptionality of the health emergency in the break with traditional university-environment linkage processes. The wide network of actors that are related without previous ties, the collaboration and modification of administrative bureaucratic processes in record time, and a certain break with the traditional logic of relationship with knowledge between university-environment, are highlighted.

Keywords : university-environment linkage; knowledge co-production; COVID-19; exceptionality; stakeholders' network.
