Abstract

VEREDA, Marisol. Ushuaia,-Tierra del Fuego, and Antarctica: An Inventory of Resources that could be used as Complementary Tourist Destinations. Estud. perspect. tur. [online]. 2008, vol.17, n.3, pp.199-225. ISSN 1851-1732.

This article examines the possibility of visualizing Antarctica and Ushuaia/Tierra Del Fuego as complementary tourist destinations. This idea can be effective taking into account the relationships between the two places from different dimensions and based on their resources, providing a possible specialization for Ushuaia in its role as a maritime gateway to Antarctica.
