This article presents some of the results of the first author's, which developed a d escriptive and exploratory research under the qualitative and quantitative methods, aiming to evaluate the importance of B razil's Private Natural Heritage Reserves (RPPN's) for ecotourism and its role in the conservation of ecosystems.
