This objective reveals the tourist resilience through the territorial methodology implemented in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, a representative coastal area located in northwestern Mexico, where there was a violent impact of Hurricane "Odile", in an area where this kind hydrometeorological phenomena are frequent. First, the main theoretical frameworks on resilience are exposed in the context of risk and threat management. Later, using the probabilistic typification, physical, economic, human and social capital is analyzed to identify different levels of resilience in the geostatistical basic area that conform the study zone.
