Abstract

Issues like beach erosion, coast reduction as well as landscape alteration are mostly registered in Buenos Aires, Argentina seacoasts. These changes determine that people economic and social growth will be affected. During the last 40 years Pinamar is suffering from a natural dynamic and population growth. Nowadays Pinamar is going through a more difficult situation due to climate alteration and its direct result: the sea mid-level rise. Therefore, the beaches flood is a very dramatic issue for touristic destinations included Pinamar. It is important to research what is going to happen in the future with the climate change. Methodology: Apply several descriptive indicators of issues affected. Count types of threads. Indicate situations of social vulnerability and risk management actions.
