Abstract

In this paper the presence of H. mandonianum Wedd. from Northwestern Argentina is confirmed. This species has been previously cited for the Andes of Peru and Bolivia. A description, illustrations, uses, geographical distribution and ecological observations of the treated species are presented herein, together a key to identify the species of the genus Hedeoma in Argentina.
