Abstract
BENITEZ, C P et al. Juvenile Multiple Xanthogranuloma, a case report. Rev. argent. dermatol. [online]. 2019, vol.100, n.2, pp.21-30. ISSN 1851-300X.
Juvenil xanthogranuloma is the most common non-Langenhans histiocytosis in children under two yeas old, usually benign and self-limited. Clinically presented as single or multiple neoformations like papules and nodules, asymptomatic. Can be associated with neurofibromatosis 1 and juvenile chronic myelogenous leukemia. Although the extracutaneous involvement is infrequent, it should always be discarded in multiple lesions. We present the case of a 3-month old infant with diagnosis of juvenile xanthogranuloma with multiple and increasing lesions, so topical corticoid treatment is initiated showing succesfull clinical response.
