CARMONA, MF et al. Primary Cutaneous Cryptococcosis. Rev. argent. dermatol. [online]. 2019, vol.100, n.3, pp.56-62.  Epub Sep 30, 2019. ISSN 1851-300X.

Cryptococcosis is a chronic infection that affects immunocompetent and immunosuppressed patients caused by the encapsulated yeast Cryptococcus neoformans. It primarily affects the lungs and it may disseminate. The cutaneous form is divided into primary, occurring after direct inoculation or secondary, due to dissemination from a distant site of infection. We present a case of a 57 years-old immunocompetent male with primary Cutaneous Cryptococcosis which is infrequent.
