Foliaceus pemphigus is an infrequent autoimmune blistering verse disease characterized histopathologically by acantholysis, induced by the presence of autoantibodies against desmoglein 1. The detachment is located in the most superficial layers of the epidermis produces fragile blisters and erosions. It is classified as endemic, and not endemic or sporadic. Within the latter we can find a localized and a generalized variety. Presents the case of a patient, diagnosis and histopathological confirmation of a paper and makes a brief review of the literature.
