Abstract

SANCHEZ, MP et al. Necrolyticmigratory erythema associated with glucagonoma. Rev. argent. dermatol. [online]. 2021, vol.102, n.2, pp.51-60. ISSN 1851-300X.

Necrolyticmigratory erythema (NME) is a rare dermatosis, its clinical importance lies in that it is frequently associated with neuroendocrine tumors (glucagonoma), as well as in cases secondary to malabsorption syndromes (celiac disease, zinc deficiency), pancreatitis, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, Crohn’s disease, hepatitis B and C. We report the case of a 48-year-old patient with a history of glucagonoma, who presented with NME two years after diagnosis of the pancreatic tumor.

The case is presented due to the infrequency of this entity and a bibliographic review is carried out.

Keywords : necrolyticmigratory erythema; glucagonoma.
