Abstract
VERGA, A. et al. Morphological characterization of algarrobo trees (Prosopis sp.) from the fitogeographical regions of Chaco and northern Espinal in Argentina. Quebracho (Santiago del Estero) [online]. 2009, vol.17, n.1, pp.31-40. ISSN 1851-3026.
Classification of trees sampled from natural population of Prosopis sp of Chaqueña and Espinal Norte regions, using taxonomical traits of leaves and fruits, was made. Morphological "major groups" related to species of Prosopis descript for this region were found. However three forms of Prosopis alba can be differentiated. According to studies on related species, it can be assumed that these groups can be morphological ecotypes or even subspecies of P. Alba.
