The general context of professional formation analyzes how professional performance changes on a global scale, and especially focuses on the countries that lead the international rankings. Significant research is presented about modern proposals by important international institutions about the core competencies required for employment throughout the world. The proposed curriculum starts from a pragmatic change in the definition of the professional profiles, in which future employers, professionals of the respective profession and the national and international context of employment play a real and significant role. The effectiveness of the formation is assured with a significant change in the planning of the contents, a coherent and rupturist structure is needed that differs strongly from the traditional structure. Crucial as well is a significant change in teaching - learning strategies. The text closes with a proactive proposal for monitoring the quality and the coherence of professional formation. Most of this information can be carried out with classic institutional information, however with some distinct indicators that are directly linked with the world of work.
