This work analyzes the prologues of the Zifar in their pedagogic and political aspects. The religious and propagandist sense, derived from the production context, is developed from theological principles about the memory considered as virtus and from mnemonics rules of rhetoric. These principles rules determine a literary treatment with pragmatic results to designed to incorporate the message in the receptors' collective memory.
