Abstract

COLINO, Evelyn et al. Analysis of the structure and dynamics of the craft beer complex of Bariloche, Argentina. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2017, vol.20, n.2, pp.79-91. ISSN 1851-3123.

The objective of this article is to analyze the production and commercialization of craft beer in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. This study is based on the Global Value Chains concept. This analytical-methodological framework allows characterizing local clusters, their potential productive capacity and regional value addition, as well as those factors that limits their growth. The analysis contributes to improving knowledge of a local productive sector with a remarkable dynamic pattern. Moreover, it provides additional information to a broader conceptual discussion focusing on the potentialities and constraints of the activity in the region.

Keywords : Global Value Chains; Craft beer; Local Producers.
