EXPOSITO, Cristián David  and  MARSOLLIER, Roxana Graciela. The impact of Social Confinement by COVID-19 on teachers: An approach to your family, economic and work conditions. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.24, n.1, pp.1-17. ISSN 1851-3123.

The purpose of this research is to inquire about the family, economic and work conditions that affect the teaching work in the face of the situation of preventive and compulsory social isolation that prevails in the Argentine territory since March 20, 2020. We worked with a sample intentional made up of 777 participants, mostly teachers or managers, belonging to institutions of different educational levels in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina. The methodological design is quantitative, descriptive / correlational type; cross section. Among the results obtained, we can highlight the difficulties that occurred in the family nucleus and in the teacher's own emotional life, as a consequence of the transfer of work to the home in an anomalous situation of confinement. It is also described in detail which are and how the different environments of the house where the teacher carries out his pedagogical activity are conditioned; in relation to factors related to family life and the economic impact generated by isolation within their family group, among other minor analyzes. The findings invite further study of the consequences of the situation of social isolation in the educational system.
