The work seeks to analyze the justification for the establishment of the financial valorization model carried out in Argentina, according to the explanations of Martínez de Hoz. To achieve this objective, the article is divided into three parts. The first one is dedicated to analyze the motivations, the operation and the problems of the financial reform of June 1977. In the second one, the same is done about debt policies. While the third, it does so with a view to the crises that occurred during the final stretch of the administration. Finally, the work closes with some conclusions in this regard.
