Abstract

CABEZAS DEFAUS, Neydis; CRUZ PEREZ, Pedro P; IGLESIAS MARTINEZ, Miguel E  and  ERNANDEZ MONTERO, Fidel E. Higher-order statistical analysis: an useful tool for signal processing. Rev. cienc. tecnol. [online]. 2013, n.20, pp.30-37. ISSN 1851-7587.

This work has the objective of introducing the effectiveness of using higher-order statistical signal processing techniques when classical techniques do not represent an effective choice. This research revealed some results from the higher-order signal analysis of mechanical vibrations, communications signals and noise corrupted signals, evaluating the benefits of the different applications. Effectiveness of the implementations was proved through real and computational simulation experiments.

Keywords : Higher-order statistical analysis; Signal processing.
