Abstract

STANISCIA, Alberto. Enrique Dussel or a deranged phylosophy: Notes on the first and second edition of La dialética hegeliana (Hegelian Dialectic). Estud. filos. práct. hist. ideas [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.1, pp.1-26. ISSN 1851-9490.

On the first edition of La dialéctica hegeliana (1972) it is announced what the autor himself will call “subversive derangement” of his ideas, from the reading of the book Totalidad e Infinito (Totality and Infinity) by Emmanuel Levinas. In spite of this, Enrique Dussel does not state that such edition belongs to the period designated as Liberation Phylosophy, but includes it in a previous stage. Curiously, he will not do so with the 1974 re- edition, named Método para una filosofía de la liberación (Method for a philosophy of liberation). In this paper we aim to show what this “derangement” consisted on, produced in the 1972 edition, and to explain why the 1974 edition does deserve to be included in the Liberation Phylosophy stage, according to Dussel’s criterion itself.

Keywords : Hegelian dialectic; Dereangement; Exteriority; Analectic method; Liberalton Phylosophy.
