Abstract

FERREYRA, Silvana. El partido socialista democrático: electorado real y electorado ideal desde una perspectiva local. Cambios y continuidades durante la proscripción del peronismo. El caso de Mar del Plata. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2009, n.22, pp.161-176. ISSN 1852-1568.

This article is part of a research work on the Partido Socialista Democrático (Democratic Socialist Party) in the Buenos Aires Province (Argentina) between 1958 and 1966. This implies an approach to the Party's electoral district, both from the socio-spatial and quantitative distribution and from the different types of political appeal that the socialist politicians implemented during electoral campaigns. In particular, the case of Mar del Plata is closely dealt with, where the Democratic Socialists won the city council from 1958 until 1966. The key issue is to relate, from a local perspective but without losing the provincial and national political horizon, the gaps and the articulations that take place between the real and the ideal electorates since the emergence and later ban of Peronism.

Keywords : Democratic Socialist Party; Electorate; Antiperonism; Proscription; Local history.
