Abstract

The Mexicans magazines Plural and Vuelta were directed by Octavio Paz and were an important space for circularity of  ideas between Latin Americans intellectuals in the sixties’ and seventies’ of XX Century. Both magazines have published critical reflections about cultural policies of the Cuban Revolution and themes like freedom of speech, the relationship among intellectuals and the government have been edited in the magazines. Plural and Vuelta have manifested critical thought about the Revolution in Cuba and because of that suffered prohibition to circulation by the government in the island.
