Abstract

REANO², Ariana  and  SMOLA³, Julia G.. 30 años de democracia: Debates sobre los sentidos de la política en la transición argentina. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2013, n.29, pp.35-51. ISSN 1852-1568.

In this work we propose to re-visit the debates on the sense of the democracy during the so called Argentine transition, departing from the hypothesis that this one was an epoch of great productivity in the debate of the ideas, and where there was forged an important part of our theoretical and political vocabulary. We will argue that the democracy constituted as the significant polemic one and that the debates concerning the sense of the democracy structured across an attempt for articulating his formal dimension and his substantive dimension. Both dimensions, far from representing an opposition, were formed as the poles of a tension inside which the imaginary democratic one of the eighties was constructed symbolically. We will show, then, that the notable process, far from having been fulfilled in stages and to be supported unilaterally by a certain political force, was form from the beginnings of the transition and it can be reconstructed across the different intellectual, political and social speeches that were circulating and constitutingthe public space.

Keywords : Democracy; senses of thepolitics; debates; transition.
