In this article, we discuss how you have configured the different investigations into the relationship between security, violence and the media in our country. For this, will not only present a state of affairs that crosses cultural criminology and media studies, but also we put together a type of approach developed in the context of discussions of Communication and Citizenship Studies Program reconfigure terms of the debate and powering up the way it has been addressed in terms of a set of transformations related to the process of mediation.
