GONZALEZ, Leandro M.; ORTECHO, Mariana  and  MOLINATTI, Florencia. Desde la vulnerabilidad a la movilidad social, con una mirada decolonial. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2013, n.30, pp.177-196. ISSN 1852-1568.

The principal aim of this paper is to review the path so much formative as of field investigation of the Program of Social Vulnerability of the Center for Advanced Studies in the last years. This tour begins with a review of the notion of social vulnerability in Latin America, which operated on trigger of a set of epistemological, theoretical and methodological approach that stimulated the research team to work with another much more concrete concept to illustrate the dynamic conditions of life of population in small neighborhood areas, the notion of social mobility. Likewise, we incorporated the decolonial approach, which implies a challenge not only intellectually but properly personally that require to break and to re-found our pre-conceptions (relative to what we consider economic, social and cultural well-being). This reflection motivated to program's members to investigating empirically to what extent and how persons experience the social mobility, paying special attention to their own perceptions.

Keywords : social vulnerability; social mobility; decolonial approach.
