Abstract

GARAY REYNA, Zenaida  and  ROSALES, Marcela. Espacios geoeconómicos en la construcción de identidades colectivas: Territorialidades en tensión. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2013, n.30, pp.53-68. ISSN 1852-1568.

Space is an «a priori» on which social relations that produce the territory is, therefore, an «a posteriori». Confusing leads to significant errors. For example, speak of a «territorial dimension of development» or «land development projects» means understanding the territory as a «dimensional space». What can be said is that the movements by which social relationships occur materialize and territories are geographic processes while social and economic. During the last century the concept of geo-economic space in Latin American social thought has been crossed by the category «development», either on the contributions of ECLAC on the structural nature of underdevelopment, either in looks criticism from theorists dependency and marginality on the proposed development reformist «viable». Under this conception proliferate institutional bodies designed to promote the participation of stakeholders.

Keywords : space; land; development; collective identities.
