In this research we will discuss new currents of thought and discussions about relevant issues of Saharan Africa and afro-descendants in Latin America from a social science point of view. Refering to Saharan Africa, our main issue will be on intrastate conflics, complex political emergencies, humanitarian interventionism and peace processes; parallel, we will focus on affirmative policies to the collective afro-decendants in our region.
