Abstract

DUTRENIT BIELOUS², Silvia  and  JALOMA³, Elena. Recuerdos y relatos sobre la búsqueda de un detenido desaparecido en México1. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2014, n.31, pp.181-202. ISSN 1852-1568.

Rosendo Radilla Pacheco, Mexican native of Atoyac de Álvarez, disappeared in 1974 on dirty war's (guerra sucia) context. His case is barely known, as it is also the ones of the hundreds of disappeared-detainees in his country. However, a lawsuit made by his relatives and activists of human rights prospered at the Inter-American System. A strategic litigation turned the Radilla case in the first one in putting the Mexican state as responsible of the violation of human rights committed by the political repression of the named «dirty war». The Inter-American Court of Human Rights, maximum court of the continent, stated in 2009 a sentence that oblige Mexico, among other aspects, to the immediate search of the disappeared one. The process is now in course and it counts in particular with the participation of anthropologists and archeologists. They observe, carry out research and do excavations in the land where the mortal remains could possibly be located. Radilla's circumstances are embedded on Present Time History (HTP for its initials in Spanish), the one of the eyewitnesses, where there's a living memory. To catch it, the semi- focused interviews offer a selection and a reconstruction of facts from de witness' subjectivity. Nevertheless, in general, coming out voices contain experiences that go further the person and allude to the mentioned context. Both results are what this text is looking up to recover.

Keywords : Radilla; disappeared person; dirty war; Mexico; anthropologists.
