Abstract On May 28, 1985, Eliseo Verón was supporting in the University of Paris VIII, St. Denis, his Thesis of State (TE) "Production du Sens. Fragments d'une socio-semiotique", under the direction of the linguist Jean Claude Chevalier. The members of the juror were his president Antoine Culioli, Gilles Fauconnier who was teaching at that time in California, Christian Metz and Jean-Claude Passeron. The intention of my work is to compare this Thesis of State with "La Semiosis Social. Fragmentos de una teoría de la discursividad", published by Gedisa in 1987 (LSS). It is a question neither of a study of the sources nor of a genealogy of the texts. I will try to realize a reading in production of both and will use the third text "Fragmentos de un tejido" (2004) (FDT) as a developer in the photographic sense, of the discarded aspects and of the transformations realized on and inside his own writing. An intertextual work on an intertextuality that marked strongly to Verón writing
