Abstract

OTERO, Rocío. Ante el síndrome de Hamlet: Evita es montonera. Estud. - Cent. Estud. Av., Univ. Nac. Córdoba [online]. 2015, n.34, pp.101-118. ISSN 1852-1568.

In this article I will rebuild Memory enterprises dedicated to the figure of Eva Peron between 1970 and 1972. First, I will try to observe the symbolic efforts by areas and groups of the Peronist left to project in this figure a radicalized version of Peronism. Second, I try to describe and analyze the particular shades that take these efforts in the case of the guerrilla organization Montoneros. With the metaphor of «Hamlet syndrome» I will try to highlight a common « clinical manifestation» about Eva in the groups of the revolutionary Peronism, characterized by a set of perceptions that gave a retrospective meaning to the figure and the action of Eva tending to legitimize and reinforce the idea that Peronism had to radicalize as a political movement not disappear and fulfill its historic mission. While in the case of Montoneros, I will show that the uses of which was subject the figure of Eva in those first years of the decade in stocks, documents, slogans and songs, can be taken as evidence of sui generis forms through which this group appropriated the memory of Eva, as part of their vocation to lead the political space of the Peronist left and begin the armed struggle.

Keywords : Peronism; Eva; Peronist left; Montoneros; Revolution.
