Abstract This article aims to provide knowledge about charismatic leadership and dilemmas that arise with succession to the disappearance of their leader. The case study is the succession in the Peronist Feminine Party and emphasizes three issues. The mechanisms of succession, the characteristics that the organization acquires and the electoral results.
