This article will explore the creation and transmission of the collective memory related to the anti-Jewish events that occurred during the denominated “Semana Trágica” that took place in Buenos Aires in January 1919. Focusing on the Jewish collective, but also considering other transmission agents such as writers and historians, we will analyze the ways in which this memory circulated, as well as the different historical moments during the 20 th century that triggered these memories.
