In this article we analyze the attributes, practices and conceptions valued in the public positions of the MDS-CABA during the PRO management (2007-2015). For this, we fundamentally use a qualitative methodological strategy and implement a series of techniques, among which the analysis of data and ten interviews with ministry employees and political officials of the portfolio stand out. We identified the primacy in the portfolio of a profile of a muddy official was related to the particular characteristics assumed by the proposed proximity from the management of the MDS-CABA during the PRO management: moralization of the policy based on the singularization of this, hierarchy of officials with "less political" profiles, separation between "social" and political management, feminization of the former and participation of officials at some moments of the implementation of policies in the territory.
