The '70s in Argentina were marked by a process of political radicalization characterized by the emergence of a set of social, political and cultural forces that had been structured since the ‘60s. These organizations shaped the new left’s field. Furthermore among them were highlighted political organizations that, especially stimulated by the Cuban revolution and the crisis of legitimacy that lived the Argentine political system, they proposed to revolutionize society by way of arms. This article aims to analyze the experience of the Grassroots Union Movement (MSB), a union tool promoted in the conjuncture of 1973 by one of these organizations: the Revolutionary Workers' Party-Revolutionary People's Army (PRT-ERP).
