Abstract

PIEMONTE, Augusto. Los anarquistas rusos de Golos Truda a mediados de los años ‘20. Sociohistórica [online]. 2021, n.48, e140. ISSN 1852-1606.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.24215/18521606e140.

A group of Russian anarchist immigrants formed the Federation of Russian Workers’ Organizations of South America in 1917. The activity of this group, despite its importance for the history of immigration and anarchism in Argentina, was not studied. This article aims to recover and analyze the political stance embodied in the editorial activity of this specific group of immigrants through the systematic reading of Golos Truda: its press. Among its pages prevailed the rejection of Soviet communism, with special emphasis on the control of the soviets exercised by the state, and on the fierce persecution of the anarchists at the hands of the Bolsheviks. Created by and for Russian anarchists in South American exile, the newspaper retained a very strong political identity, the main concern being the situation of anarchists in Soviet Russia and not the development of anarchism in South America.

Keywords : Golos Truda; Federation of Russian Workers Organizations of South America; Russian Immigration; Anarchism.
