This text takes up the reflections of a young Antonio Gramsci on the Soviet revolution and other councilist experiences between 1917 and 1920, in the heat of the great days of popular protagonism in the immediate post-war period. In these works, Gramsci's sharp look at different issues stands out, mainly in relation to the relationship between the revolution, historical temporalities and the subjects of emancipation. These elaborations constitute indispensable elements for critical thought —between the wars, but also today— and in which some of the central concepts that the Italian politician and intellectual would eventually develop in prison begin to take shape.
