Abstract

The ventricular septal defect describes an orifice in the interventricular septum, which can be found anywhere thereof, be unique or multiple, with variable size and shape, and could be presented as an isolated form or linked with other malformation. This update is done in order to analyze the possible complications that the patients may suffer from them.
