Abstract

ALONSO, Pérez Rebolledo, David. ENFOQUES ÉTICOS PARA LA SUSTENTABILIDAD ETHICAL APPROACHES TO SUSTAINABILITY. SaberEs [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.2, pp.112-125.  Epub Jan 05, 2024. ISSN 1852-4418.

Sustainability is an integral concept, which due to its complex composition has been interpreted from various disciplines. According to the definition of the ecological, economic and human aspects, three perspectives have been delimited: weak, strong and super strong sustainability. By studying each of these figures, it is possible to determine the ethical positions that underlie them respectively. The objective of this work is to make a review of the ethical school that is integrated into each of the three perspectives, since each one uses an ethical base that articulates the discourses committed to a type of behavior or application on the interaction nature, society and economy. It is concluded that in weak sustainability a pragmatic ethic is recognized, in strong sustainability an ethic of duty, while super-strong sustainability is not an anthropocentric perspective but a biocentric one (Sarukán, 2008).

Keywords : Pragmatic ethics; Obligated ethics; Biocentric ethics..
