Abstract

RICARDO, Oviedo, Raúl et al. IMPACT OF THE COURSE OF THE COMMON INTRODUCTORY CYCLE TO THE CAREERS OF ECONOMIC SCIENCES ON THE IMAGE OF THE BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ADMINISTRATION IN THE UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE ROSARIO, ARGENTINA. SaberEs [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.2, pp.126-147.  Epub Jan 05, 2024. ISSN 1852-4418.

The present work intends to evaluate the impact that the Common Introductory Cycle subject has on the image of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina. In the end, a review was carried out in two instances, listing the entrants to three Economic Sciences careers (Public Accounting, Administration Degree and Economics Degree) at the time of their admission to the Faculty and one year later. It is a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, using self-administered questionnaires, highly structured in both measures, mainly composed of closed questions and evaluation scales. It asks about the knowledge that people who enter the career have, their study plan, the level of discrimination of their professional tasks and how they imagine their professional reality. In general terms, there is a positive, albeit small, impact on the image of the Bachelor of Administration once the Common Introductory Cycle has been completed.
