Abstract

HERRAIZ DE TRESCA, Teresa. Arquetipos populares, arquetipos cultos y sagrada escritura en la poesía popular española. Olivar [online]. 2001, vol.2, n.2, pp.105-121. ISSN 1852-4478.

Many traditions come across in the ballads collected by Margit Frenk under the epigraph: "Que si soy morena", those referred to celebrations of the Virgin and those concerned with subjects of amorous nature. These traditions are related to the paneuropean subject -inquired by the same scholar- of the brown colour's affirmation, the tradition of fair beauty, associated to the learned and noble level, even including the clearly blond and green-eyed subject-studied by Faral, Lecoy, Dámaso Alonso and María Rosa Lida- and finally an evident biblical presence, especially present at the Carmina carminorum. Because of the intense diffusion and comments on this biblical book in monasteries -especially those of Benedictines and Cisternians- and in the Marian liturgy, there are many ways of interpenetration with popular culture.

Keywords : Lírica popular; Sagradas Escrituras; Oralidad.
